Our products are manufactured at our production facility in Lüdenscheid, located in the idyllic "Sauerland" region. Using latest technologies and manufacturing processes enables us to guarantee continuous improvement and optimization of the company environmental protection. Since the company's foundation, more than 2.75 million hopf systems have been in worldwide use.

In close cooperation with the occupational medical support provided by specialists and safety representatives of the Institute for Occupational Medicine as well as trained first-aid staff at hopf ensure the corporate work and health safety with consideration to labor aspects and laws. DCF77 4417 / 4418 / 4420 / 4436 / 4437 antennas are all German hopf antennas with active directional capability and an electrical design. Ferrite antennas are used for long wave range frequencies to keep the antennas small. The oscillating circuit in the antenna, which is made of a wire ferrite rod and various capacitors, is set up on 77.5 kHz. DCF77 is a standard for transmitting time (hours, minutes and seconds) and date to clocks and timing devices, and it is transmitted to devices with high accuracy by radio (local transmitter).
German Hopf 4491 Small GPS Antenna is the integration of a high performance GPS antenna and an advanced low noise amplifier in a very small size (very compact / fully waterproof housing). When connected to a GPS receiver, it boosts the antenna power with a voltage of 5V, provides excellent signal amplification, and an out-of-band filter. The small antenna is suitable for all kinds of German Hopf time servers. It has the ability to remove environmental noise very well.
6844(RC) modular GPS system
System 6844 (RC) is a semi-modular with integrated GPS receiver. It is designed in different sizes from 1 to 3 units. It is designed to be installed inside the rack. This time server has a wide screen and keyboard. It has two independent serial interfaces COM0/COM1. It has also a built-in IRIG-B protocol. Extensive development capabilities such as NTP modules for network ports are among the capabilities of this semi-modular time server. It is also possible to develop and increase ports and protocols on this time server based on the customer\'s request.
System 6844(RC)-SUB is a semi-modular SUB-Master system. It is produced in 1 to 3 units based on customer requests. You can benefit from hopf Master/Slave Strin signals, PPS pulse, DCF77 pulse (1Hz), IRIG-B and NTP/SNTP to synchronize the 6844(RC)-SUB system. The device has a screen and a keyboard. By running up to two (2) NTP LAN Board 7273 (RC) or NTP LAN Board(s) 7274 (RC), the 6844SUB system becomes a highly accurate NTP Stratum 1 time server for synchronizing computers and industrial networks.
The system 6855 is a DCF77-based time server system. This means that the system is synchronized to local time (standard time with ST/WT conversion, if needed). The 6855 Time Server System is available in a 3U version as well as a 1U Slim Line version. Both offer extensive modularity that allows customized solutions to be realized with the 6855 DCF77 system. The system can be developed using functional boards, added by the customer. So, its performance can be easily upgraded on the site at low cost. Performance panels can also be replaced directly on site.
The 6890 time servers are fully special network time server systems for NTP (Network Time Protocol). They support Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou for accurate and reliable time synchronization at very competitive prices. The 6890 series network time server systems have a compact design with a small enclosure for DIN rail installation. With an integrated 72-channel GNSS receiver for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou, reliable satellite time signal evaluation ensures the quality of received frequencies even in challenging and noisy installation conditions. This small and very high-quality time server is one of the most competitive time servers in the world with POE and 24V DC power supply and extensive protocols and internal firewall.
The 8100 product series are modular time reference systems supporting the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou for precise and reliable time synchronization at highly competitive pricing which is especially well suited for critical infrastructure applications The 8100 product series time reference systems have been designed for synchrophasor and substation applications with high requirements in terms of flexibility, availability and the support of a wide variety of time synchronization standards. The modular system design features easy spare part management and minimum mean time to repair (MTTR) with all parts / extension boards supporting hot-plug capability.
If you want to install only one GPS antenna to work with multiple GPS receivers (for structural or other reasons), you can connect up to 8 GPS receivers with a common GPS antenna by using the Active GPS Antenna Splitter 4449. This is often used in performing device tests in laboratories or test stations. Active GPS antenna splitter 4449 has 8 outputs and a GPS signal amplifier for time server technologies. The power of this splitter is provided by two ways, either by devices connected to the time server or by an external power source.

Versions 4505, 4507 to 4511 are add-on cards for the antenna card, which are replaced with pins on the antenna card. Devices similar to 6842 that do not have good satellite reception or their connection to the satellite has a problem, by replacing this board, the satellite connection will be established accurately and the system will be overhauled. Many collections are thinking of upgrading the firmware software on these cards, which is not accepted by HOPF and has caused many failures in the systems.

Germany Hopf 4496 product series are lightening arrester devices for coaxial cable and high frequency antennas of hopf time servers, which support Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou, to provide a synchronized, accurate, and reliable time. The 4496 product series protectors are designed to protect GNSS time servers. They support Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou against lightning, and unwanted events. They form the first level of protection for sensitive equipment and can be divided multiple times. The German lightning arrester 4496 is waterproof and equipped with replaceable gas discharge tubes (GDT).
