Huawei SmartAX MA5800-X15 OLT

MA5800-X15 is the industry's first intelligent aggregation OLT with a distributed architecture that is positioned as the next-generation OLT for NG-PON. The product is designed to help operators create networks with more bandwidth, higher speeds and smarter connectivity with better service. The OLT terminal provides access to GPON, 10G PON, including XG-PON and XGS-PON, and P2P 10GE/GE. It supports deployment in FTTH, FTTD, FTTB, and FTTC networks , and is applicable in scenarios such as home access, enterprise access, and wireless Internet access to combine all services into a single fiber network. The MA5800-X15 functions as a high capacity aggregation device in the network.

Quantity

The Huawei MA5800-X15 chassis can be mounted in a 19" wide c-rack. The modular platform is equipped with slots for service card installation, allowing up to 15 modular GPON cards of 16 ports each to be installed. The hardware and software ma5800-X2, MA5800-X7, MA5800-X15 and MA5800-X17 are compatible.

Control Board
MPLB     It provides 4 GE/10GE upstream transmission ports and supports load sharing. By default, MA5800 connects to upstream network through the control board

Upstream interface board
NXED     Enhanced 8-port 10GE upastream interface board, supporting 10GE/GE Ethernet upstream transmission. NXED is used when upstream ports currently provided in MA5800 are not enough.
